The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has named a newly established research facility the Infrastructure Research Hub.

This hub is located within the university's Department of Planning.

The naming ceremony recognized the contributions of Francis Asenso-Boakye, who is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.

His work in development planning and the provision of infrastructure across Ghana was acknowledged.
