The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has opened a new research hub.
It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub. It is located in the Department of Planning.
The university decided to name the hub after Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
This naming honours his contributions. These contributions are in development planning and providing infrastructure in Ghana.
