The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has opened a new Infrastructure Research Hub.
It is located within the Department of Planning at the university.
The hub has been named in honour of Francis Asenso-Boakye.
He is the Member of Parliament for the Bantama constituency.
This naming is a recognition of his significant contributions to development planning in Ghana.
It also acknowledges his efforts in providing infrastructure across the country.
The university stated this decision was made to celebrate his commitment to national progress.
The hub will focus on research related to infrastructure development.
