The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has established a new research facility. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.
This hub is located within the Department of Planning at KNUST. It focuses on research related to infrastructure development.
The university decided to name the facility the Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub. This is in recognition of Francis Asenso-Boakye.
Mr. Asenso-Boakye is the Member of Parliament for Bantama. His role in development planning and infrastructure provision in Ghana was acknowledged.
