The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi has named a new research center. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.
The hub is located in the Department of Planning at the university. It was named after Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
This naming honors his work in development planning. It also recognizes his efforts in providing infrastructure across Ghana.
The facility will now be known as the Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub.
