The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has established a new research hub. The facility is named the Infrastructure Research Hub. It is located within the Department of Planning.
KNUST named the hub in honour of Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
The university recognised his contributions. These contributions were in the areas of development planning and infrastructure provision in Ghana.
