The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has established a new research facility. It is named the Infrastructure Research Hub.
This hub is located within the Department of Planning at KNUST.
The university decided to name the facility after Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
The naming recognizes his work in development planning. It also acknowledges his efforts in providing infrastructure across Ghana.
The new hub will focus on research related to infrastructure development.
This honour reflects Asenso-Boakye's recognised contributions to national development.
