The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has opened a new Infrastructure Research Hub. The hub is located within the university's Department of Planning.
University leaders decided to name this new research centre after Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
This naming is a way to thank Mr. Asenso-Boakye for his contributions. He has helped with planning for development and building important infrastructure in Ghana.
The research hub will focus on studies related to the country's infrastructure development.
