The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST has named a new research centre. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.
The hub is located within the Department of Planning at the university. It focuses on research related to infrastructure development.
The decision to name the hub was made in recognition of Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency.
His contributions to development planning in Ghana were highlighted.
The hub also acknowledges his work in providing infrastructure across the country.
