The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has opened a new research hub. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.
This hub is located within the Department of Planning. It will focus on studying infrastructure development.
The university decided to name the hub in honor of Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for the Bantama constituency.
The naming recognizes his significant contributions. These contributions are in the areas of development planning and providing infrastructure across Ghana.
The facility will operate under the name the Asenso-Boakye Infrastructure Research Hub.
