The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has named a new research facility. It is called the Infrastructure Research Hub.
The hub is located at the Department of Planning. This is at the university campus.
The university decided to name the hub after Francis Asenso-Boakye. He is the Member of Parliament for Bantama.
This naming honours his work in development planning. It also recognizes his efforts in providing infrastructure for Ghana.
The university stated this recognition is for his contributions to the nation.
