A delegation from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre visited the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection. The group was led by the centre's Commandant, Air Vice Marshall David Akrong.
They met with the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey. The purpose of the visit was to improve working relationships between the two institutions.
The discussions focused on ways to strengthen collaboration. This includes efforts related to women's roles in peace and security initiatives.
The meeting aimed to build upon the existing partnership between the Ministry and the KAIPTC. Both sides are committed to advancing gender equality in peacebuilding.
