The Judiciary is preparing to launch a new electronic system for court processes. This system will allow for electronic filing, authentication, and service of documents.
The new system is set to begin on October 1, 2026. This change is a major step towards modernizing the court system.
Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie announced the upcoming changes. He stated that this is part of the Judiciary's E-Justice Plus Agenda.
The agenda also includes the automation of courts across the country. This automation will happen in phases.
The Supreme Court will be the first court to implement these automated processes. Other courts will follow later.
This initiative aims to make court operations more efficient and accessible.
