Iran launched drone attacks targeting important infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates. The attacks focused on transport and oil facilities.
Two key locations were hit according to authorities. These included Fujairah, the UAE's biggest port and oil storage area, and Dubai's international airport.
The incidents caused disruptions. Flights at Dubai's airport were temporarily suspended.
This happened after a fire broke out near the airport. A drone-related incident was cited as the cause.
A separate fire also occurred at Fujairah.
The attacks are part of ongoing actions by Iran against Gulf transport and oil infrastructure.
