Citizenship in Ghana is an invitation to help the country grow, stay stable, and prosper. This was stated by the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak.
He spoke at an event in Accra where more than 100 people from the African diaspora became new citizens. They all took the oath of allegiance.
The Minister explained that his ministry and other government bodies work to make sure that gaining citizenship is clear, trustworthy, and follows Ghana's laws.
He welcomed the new citizens and emphasized their role in the nation's future.
The event marked a significant step for these individuals in their relationship with Ghana.
