Four Ghanaian soldiers were hurt in an attack on their base in southern Lebanon. The soldiers are part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon UNIFIL.
The attack involved a missile hitting the base. A senior military official confirmed the injuries.
The injured soldiers are responding well to the medical treatment they are receiving in Lebanon. They are expected to continue getting care in the region.
Repatriation to Ghana is only being considered if their medical condition becomes significantly worse. The official did not provide further details on the individuals.
