Ghana wants the Commonwealth of Nations to strongly condemn an attack on United Nations peacekeepers in Lebanon. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa made this appeal.
He spoke at the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting in London. Mr Ablakwa warned that such attacks weaken global peacekeeping efforts.
He also stated that these actions go against the principles of working together as a global community.
The minister stressed the importance of upholding multilateral cooperation.
