Ghanaians residing in Qatar have been assured of their safety amidst heightened international conflict.
Eric Siaw Nartey, the Public Relations Officer for Ghanaians in Qatar, stated that the Ghana Embassy in Doha has consistently worked to protect its citizens.
This reassurance comes as a recent conflict escalated in the Middle East.
The conflict began on February 28, 2026, involving joint air attacks.
Mr. Nartey specifically commended the efforts of the Ghana Embassy in Doha for their role in ensuring the well-being of the Ghanaian community.
