Political scientist John Osae-Kwapong said Ghana has maintained democratic governance for more than three decades. This is a significant achievement for the country since it became independent.

Osae-Kwapong spoke about this on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday, March 5.

He is a fellow at the Centre for Democratic Development. He stated that the country's enduring democratic stability is particularly noteworthy.
