Solomon Owusu, the Director of Communications for the United Party, stated that diplomacy has not been effective in stopping xenophobic attacks.
These attacks have continued to happen year after year. Owusu expressed his frustration with efforts by some African leaders, especially Ghana, to use dialogue to solve the problem.
He believes that relying solely on diplomacy is not working.
The attacks continue despite diplomatic engagements by Ghanaian officials.
