Dela Edem, a leading voice in John Dramani Mahama's communication team, has expressed strong disapproval of the ongoing debate surrounding the presidential jet. He described the criticisms leveled by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as unfair and hypocritical.

Edem's remarks came during a discussion on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem program. He argued that the NPP's persistent focus on the presidential jet lacks merit.

The communication team member highlighted what he termed "eight years of failed governance" under the NPP's watch. He suggested that this period of alleged mismanagement should be the primary subject of public scrutiny.

Edem's statement implies that the NPP should not be quick to judge the current administration's use of state resources. He believes their own governance record offers little basis for such critique.

The debate over the presidential jet has been a recurring theme in political discussions. Edem's comments add a new layer to the ongoing dialogue.

He emphasized that substantive governance issues should take precedence. Instead, the focus appears to be on specific assets like the presidential jet.
