Dela Edem, a member of the communications team for John Dramani Mahama, has responded to the ongoing debate about the presidential jet. He described the criticism as hypocritical.

Speaking on Adom FM, Edem argued that it is unfair for the New Patriotic Party NPP to raise concerns about the presidential jet. He suggested this is especially true after what he described as eight years of poor governance by the NPP.

Edem believes that the current administration should not be in a position to judge the presidential jet's situation.

His comments highlight political disagreements surrounding government spending and asset management.
