The Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) is calling for action.
They want the Minister for Education to revoke an appointment. This appointment is for the role of Acting Vice Principal at the Dambai College of Education.
CETAG says the person appointed is a Senior Assistant Librarian.
The association believes this choice goes against established rules for running academic institutions.
CETAG has formally asked the Education Minister to review and cancel the decision.
