Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has accused the previous Mahama administration of deceiving Ghanaians.
He described several campaign promises made by the Mahama government as scams during a speech at the NPP's National Delegates Conference held in Kumasi.
Dr. Bawumia specifically mentioned promises related to cocoa prices that were not fulfilled.
He also pointed to unkept promises concerning the automatic posting of newly trained teachers and nurses.
The NPP flagbearer's comments were part of a broader critique of the former government's record.
