The Accra High Court has confirmed Israel Kwadwo Safo Akofena as the leader of the Kantanka Empire. This happened after the will of the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka was read.
This decision by the Judicial Service provides clarity on who will lead the Kristo Asafo Mission and the Kantanka group.
There had been a dispute for months over who was meant to take over the leadership.
The reading of the will and the subsequent court confirmation settles the matter.
Akofena is now officially recognized as the successor.
