A chartered accountant named Gabriel Nyame wants Ghana's teaching hospitals to have professor positions. He works at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

Mr Nyame believes these hospitals are very important for healthcare in Ghana. They also play a big role in training doctors and nurses.

Teaching hospitals train many health professionals. This includes doctors, nurses, radiographers, and sonographers. The accountant thinks adding professor roles will improve this training.

He noted that teaching hospitals are central to the country's healthcare and medical education. Better training can lead to better patient care.

The suggestion aims to strengthen the medical field in Ghana. It focuses on enhancing the quality of education and practice within these critical institutions.
