The Center for Public Opinion and Awareness a group that speaks for the public has asked the government to stop charging fees for job applications to security forces. This includes agencies like the Ghana Police Service.
CenPOA stated that these fees prevent many capable men and women from applying. They believe that applying for jobs in service to the nation should be free for everyone.
The group released a statement detailing their concerns. They explained that charging money for these applications has been a long-standing issue.
