The Greater Accra Region has been devastated by severe flooding following hours of intense rainfall on June 29. Emergency services have confirmed that over 150 individuals have been successfully rescued from the affected areas.

Tragically, at least 12 bodies have been recovered by rescue teams. The Ghana National Fire Service is continuing its efforts to assess the full impact of the disaster and provide assistance to those affected by the widespread inundation.
