The Western Regional Police Command has arrested two Nigerian men in Tarkwa. The men are Obasi Kingsley and Udeze Ifeanyi.
They are accused of stealing gold dust. The Ghana Police Service stated that the stolen gold dust weighs 1.2 kilograms.
The value of the stolen gold dust is GHC290,000. Police reports indicate the suspects defrauded a Ghanaian businessman.
The arrests were made by police officers in the Western Region. The suspects are currently in police custody.
