Police in the Accra Region have arrested two men. They are suspected of being landguards who illegally took over land. The land involved is located at Ayigbe town, close to Kasoa.

The arrests were made after police received a tip about the illegal activity. The two suspects are now assisting the police with their investigation.

Landguards are individuals who forcibly take over land, often through intimidation or violence. This practice is illegal and causes distress to landowners.

The Accra Regional Police Command is continuing its efforts to tackle land guarding activities in the region. These actions aim to ensure public safety and protect property rights.
