Two people have been arrested by the Central East Regional Police Command. This is following an incident at the Awutu Oshimpo Chief’s palace.

The suspects are accused of breaking into the palace. They allegedly took eight pieces of the chief’s clothing. Several stools belonging to the chief were also taken.

The report indicated that security cameras at the palace were removed. This happened before the items were stolen.

The police confirmed the arrests. They stated that other individuals involved are still at large. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The attack is believed to have happened when a group, suspected to be land guards, was involved in activities near the palace.

Authorities are working to recover the stolen items. They are also seeking the remaining suspects.
