Three Fulani herdsmen have been arrested in the Asante Akyem North Municipality. They are accused of bringing cattle into the area. This led to the destruction of several farmlands.
The Asante Akyem North District Police Commander, DSP Edem Aklasu, confirmed the arrests. He stated that municipal authorities had previously cautioned herdsmen. The warnings were against moving cattle into farmlands.
