Three Fulani herdsmen have been arrested in the Asante Akyem North Municipality. They are accused of bringing cattle that caused damage to farmlands.

The arrests were confirmed by DSP Edem Aklasu the Asante Akyem North District Police Commander.

He stated that municipal authorities had previously cautioned herdsmen against moving cattle into certain areas.

The herdsmen are being held by the police for further investigation.

This action follows complaints from local farmers about their crops being destroyed.

Authorities are working to prevent future incidents of this nature.
