The Ghana Police Service has arrested ten suspects in connection with a suspected illegal operation. Eight of the suspects are Chinese nationals and two are Ghanaians.

Authorities believe the group was involved in stealing metal cables belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana. The cables were allegedly being prepared for export.

The arrests took place during a police operation. This operation was conducted at the premises of Sentuo Company. The company is located in the Kpone Industrial Area.

Further details about the value of the stolen cables or the full scope of the alleged operation are still being investigated by the police.

The police have not yet released the names of the arrested individuals. Investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the alleged syndicate.
