A devastating fire has completely destroyed the premix fuel station located at the Bosomtwi-Sam Fishing Harbour in Sekondi. The inferno is believed to have been triggered by a suspected landslide that uprooted an electricity pole.
Reports indicate that heavy rainfall had already weakened the pole, causing it to fall. The fallen pole subsequently sparked the fire, which rapidly spread and consumed the premix fuel storage facilities at the busy fishing harbour.
