Police in Kumasi have made arrests in connection with a series of phone snatching incidents. The Ashanti Regional Police Command led the operation.
The arrests followed a concentrated effort by the police to address the rise in phone thefts in the city. Several suspects are now in custody.
The police operation also resulted in the recovery of a number of stolen mobile phones. The exact number of phones recovered has not yet been disclosed.
