The Ghana Police Service has intercepted a truck carrying items suspected to be stolen. The incident occurred in the Volta Region.
Police officers from the Volta Regional Command made the seizure. They found the truck loaded with goods believed to be stolen.
The driver of the truck and any accomplices managed to escape before police could apprehend them. They fled the scene.
The vehicle and all the items inside have been impounded. This is according to a police statement. The goods will be examined as part of an ongoing investigation.
