Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a group of people they believe are involved in stealing cars. The arrests were made in Kumasi and the surrounding areas.
The Ashanti Regional Police Command confirmed the operation. They stated that several stolen vehicles have been recovered.
The recovered vehicles include both saloon cars and sports utility vehicles. These were taken from different locations.
Authorities are continuing their work to find any other stolen vehicles. They are also investigating other members of the suspected gang.
