The Ghana Police Service confirmed the arrest of four suspects following an intelligence led operation targeting a burglary ring in Kumasi. According to an official statement from the police service the suspects are allegedly linked to multiple break ins involving residential properties throughout the Ashanti Region.
Authorities reported the recovery of various stolen items during the exercise. The Ghana Police Service statement indicated that officers seized several electronic devices and pieces of jewelry which are believed to have been taken from victims houses during recent criminal activities.
A report by Citi Newsroom noted that the tactical team tracked the suspects to different locations within the metropolitan area. The Ghana Police Service has not yet released the specific names of the four individuals as they continue to investigate potential links to other criminal syndicates in the region.

The Ghana Police Service urged residents who have recently been victims of burglary in Kumasi to contact the regional command for the identification of their items.
