A 28-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly attempting to take money from a church offering box. The incident occurred in the Ga South Municipality.
The suspect was reportedly caught in the act by members of the church. He is accused of trying to steal about Gh¢5,000.
Ghana Police Service officers have taken the suspect into custody. Investigations into the incident are underway.
