Accra police have arrested a man suspected of stealing money from a church offertory box. The incident occurred recently in Accra.
Witnesses reported that the suspect was seen taking money from the box where church donations are collected. This act was captured on camera recording within the church premises.
Following the sighting and the clear video evidence, members of the church identified the individual. They apprehended him at the scene.
Congregants then handed the suspect over to the Ghana Police Service. An investigation into the alleged theft is now underway.
The police are examining the evidence, including the video footage, as part of their investigation.
