Police in the Eastern Region have arrested a man suspected of distributing fake cement.
The suspect was found with a large quantity of counterfeit building material.
Officials estimate the amount to be around 100 tons.
The value of the seized fake cement is several thousand Ghana cedis, according to a police statement.
Authorities are investigating the source and intended distribution network of the counterfeit product.
The arrest took place in the Eastern Region.
