The Kasoa Divisional Police Command confirmed the arrest of two individuals suspected of orchestrating a series of break-ins at wholesale outlets across the Kasoa municipality. According to an Adom Online report the arrests followed a surveillance operation initiated after store owners reported significant losses over the weekend.

Authorities stated that the suspects allegedly targeted multiple businesses during the late hours of Saturday and Sunday. A report by Citi Newsroom indicates that the police recovered several items believed to be part of the stolen inventory which includes bulk consumer goods and electronics. The estimated value of the recovered items totals several thousand Ghana Cedis.

The Ghana Police Service informed local media that the suspects were apprehended at a hideout within the Central Region. Officers told journalists from Joy News that the investigation is now focused on tracing the distribution network where the stolen goods were intended to be sold. No formal charges have been finalized as the suspects await their initial court appearance.

Law enforcement officials have urged business owners in the Kasoa area to enhance their security measures and report any suspicious activities near commercial hubs. While Adom Online reported that the two individuals are the primary suspects investigators told GhanaWeb that they are searching for additional members of a larger criminal syndicate involved in property crimes.
