Farmers in Asekese are concerned about the sale of their land. The Concerned Farmers Association of Ghana has formally asked for help.

They have written to the Inspector General of Police. They have also appealed to the National House of Chiefs.

The Association says the chief of Asekese is selling farmlands. This action is causing anger among people living in the area.

Tensions are reportedly high due to these land sales.

The farmers hope for an intervention from the police and traditional leaders.

They want to understand the process and halt any improper sales.
