The Ghana Prisons Service has launched a search for an inmate who escaped from custody. The inmate has been identified as Peter Kyeremeh, aged 29.
Kyeremeh was serving a five-year sentence with hard labour. His conviction was for unlawful entry and stealing.
The Prisons Service described Kyeremeh as fair in complexion and slim in build. He escaped from lawful custody on August 15, 2026.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to his recapture.
