The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has presented food to the Ghana Prisons Service. This donation is meant to assist inmates across the country during Ramadan. The items were given to help ensure inmates have food during their fasting period.
The donation included bags of sugar and cartons of tomato paste. Gallons of cooking oil were also part of the support provided.
Support for this initiative came from Ibrahim Mahama. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners.
The Ghana Prisons Service thanked the minister and his supporters for their contribution. They stated the food would be distributed to various prisons.
