Five condemned inmates are taking legal action against the Ghana Prisons Service. They say their rights were violated.

The inmates claim they were unable to attend a scheduled court hearing. This led them to file a lawsuit at the Human Rights Court.

The inmates involved are Felix Dzifa Abusa, Donglik Konkouk, Kweku Awuku, and Richard Annan Asmah. This legal action is known as Suit No. HR 0038/2026.

They argue that being denied court access is unconstitutional. The Human Rights Court will now hear their case.
