The Ministry of the Interior has released funds to settle rent allowance arrears for 2025.
This payment is for officers serving in the Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.
The financial clearance allows for the payment of entitlements that were due in the previous year.
Payment processing will be done electronically starting from March 2026.
This action addresses a backlog of owed allowances to the security personnel.
