Ghana and Turkey are working to strengthen their relationship. The Interior Minister, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, recently met with the Turkish Ambassador.
The Minister told the Ambassador that his Ministry is dedicated to boosting ties between the two countries.
He also thanked the Ambassador and the Hudai Foundation for their continued support. The Hudai Foundation makes an annual donation.
This support helps the Ghana Prisons Service. The donations aim to improve the welfare of inmates.
The Minister urged other groups to also help the Prison Service. He believes more support can further improve conditions for those in custody.
