A Chief Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service has been interdicted following his arrest for allegedly attempting to smuggle a substance suspected to be Indian hemp into the Kete-Krachi Local Prison.
The officer, identified by his service number as No. 8566 Michael Osei-Bonsu, was apprehended in connection with the alleged offense. The Ghana Prisons Service has taken immediate action by interdicting the officer pending further investigations into the matter.
